Today 11th September 2014 the Mayors of the 8 Municipalieties of Chianti Classico ( Greve in Chianti, Radda in Chianti, Castellina in Chianti, Gaiole in Chianti, Barberino Val d’Elsa, San Casciano Val di Pesa, Tavarnelle Val di Pesa, Castelnuovo Berardenga) officially opened the Wine Expo 2014 in the beautiful square of Greve in Chianti.
Amongst the beautiful things to do in Tuscany, what I always recommend to my guests staying at Ancora del Chianti B&B is paying a visit to the wine farm and meet the wine makers personally. So coming to Greve in Chianti for the Wine Expo in Greve in Chianti is a must that you cannot miss! Take a look in the map of Tuscany and you will discover that Greve in Chianti is right in the middle of Tuscany between Florence and Siena.
Even if you are spending your Tuscany holidays in a hotel in Florence, or in a bed and breakfast in Siena, spending lazy days in agriturismo in the South of Tuscany or touring on your Italy vacations, after day tour in Siena, San Gimignano Pisa and Lucca, trips to Cortona, Cinque Terre, Florence tours with museums, monument and shopping, take some time for yourself and enjoy the most amazing wine tasting with the most young, passionate (…and beautiful !) wine producers of Chianti.
