""A quiet and charming stay in the heart of Chianti" Upon arrival I knew we discovered a piece of paradise. The setting is beautiful and the Laura's welcome made us feel right at home. Laura's knowledge of the area directed us to sights and experiences that enriched our Italy experience. Booking the castle wine tour and cooking class would really add to your trip. They were fabulous. The morning breakfast included a special homemade cake each day and the staff were genuine and kind. Laura's morning greeting and smile made every day of our stay special. A kitchen is provided with supplies if you don't want to make the drive to town. The rooms are comfortable and clean decorated with an inviting Tuscany charm."

""A gem of a retreat!" We spent one week at Ancora Del Chianti and were enchanted! It is a peaceful haven set amongst quintessentially Tuscan olive groves and grapevines where the beautiful views and many different scents from the naturally growing herbs and flowers calm and delight your senses. There are plenty of spots for relaxation, with hammocks and loungers and the rooms are spacious and well equipped with lovely quality bed linen, typically Tuscan decoration and furniture and, essential for the English - tea/coffee making facilities! Breakfast is fresh and plentiful, served by charming and helpful staff, taken outside under the veranda, whenever possible. The availability of a guest kitchen with pasta, sauces and a selection of wines and drinks is a great additional facility, Because our holiday time is so important, we always spend ages looking for the 'right' place to stay - it can take weeks of looking at websites and reading reviews - Thank you to everyone who has written a review before about Ancora del Chianti and informed our choice - this has been the perfect stay! This gem of a retreat, closeby all the 'essential' and stunning Tuscan towns, created by lovely, welcoming Laura and her family, is simply beautiful and perfect for refreshing perspectives and senses - we can see why others return - and we will definitely do so too! Thank you."

""best, best, best farm to stay at while you explore Tuscany" Laura is the best host you could wish for. I've been lucky enough to stay at this little piece of paradise 3 times now and will definitely return again. It's a beautiful, charming, peaceful place to relax after a day visiting the towns of Tuscany, and a lovely spot amidst the olive trees to relax with a glass of wine and enjoy the Tuscan sunsets. Greve in Chianti is a great town to be close to, good restaurants and supermarkets and perhaps not as busy or as touristy as some of the other towns on offer. Beautiful breakfasts with homemade cakes and very warm hospitality were appreciated. Make sure to try the wine and olive oil from the farm while you are there as you will want more - we made the mistake of drinking the wine only once we'd left the farm and were so disappointed we hadn't brought more to take with us. Lovely stay, highly recommended."
