Here we suggest you visit the wine cellars, taste the famous Chianti Gallo Nero Wine and to experience the wine production. You can also enjoy outdoor activities as: horse riding in the National Park of San Michele, mountain bike, trekking and relaxing walks through the fields.

5 km from Ancora del Chianti you can find the main town in the valley - Greve in Chianti. In its colourful and pleasant old square market are hosted interesting festivals concerning food and wine, art and music all year round. At the Saturday morning market you can find a lot of bargains and many good things to taste! In Greve you can find: restaurants, pizzerias, supermarkets, the post office, public swimming pool, laundromat and dry cleaners, speciality shops and artists etc.

From Greve there is a very good bus service to Florence which offers the opportunity of reaching Florence without having to worry about driving in the city, traffic and finding a place to park. You can get out at Florence train station, within walking distance of the main monuments.
