""A magical place to stay!" My husband and I spent three nights at Ancora del Chianti during our weeklong trip in Tuscany. We loved everything about this place! The host, Laura, is wonderful. A very warm and welcoming lady with great style. I loved the way she decorated the room where we stayed. I also appreciated the wonderful toiletries in our bathroom!! The breakfast buffet was excellent. Laura's assistant Daniela bakes a fresh breakfast cake everyday and every one of them is a delicacy. The cold cuts, the cheeses, the fresh yogurt with a wonderful selection of granolas, the fresh fruit... You can eat your heart out! The property is beautifully maintained, there are flowers everywhere and the views are AMAZING!! Laura also has a small store on the property where you can buy some of those fabulous toiletries, beautiful silk scarves, hand-made purses and many other lovely things. I will have to come back just for those toiletries and scarves! A few words about the access road - if you have a reasonably OK car (even a small, old Fiat) and you can drive better than a 100 year old person, you will be able to get to the place without any trouble. My husband and I would come back in a heartbeat and our only hope is that the next time we get to spend more than three nights."

"Das Ancora del Chianti ist ein ganz wundervoller Ort inmitten der toskanischen Natur. Laura ist eine hervorragende Gastgeberin, die sich für jeden einzelnen Gast Zeit nimmt, bei der Ankunft eine Führung über das komplette Anwesen gibt und individuelle Empfehlungen für Ausflüge in die Gegend erteilt. Das Frühstück ist sehr liebevoll zubereitet, stets gibt es auch selbstgebackenen Kuchen. Der perfekte Ort für alle, die sich nach Erholung und Entschleunigung vom Alltag sehnen!"
