Ancora del Chianti Country BB & Art Retreat operates as art residence in Tuscany for solo artists, couples and small groups willing to share a creative and intensive inspiring residence experience in a privileged working space with stunning view over the valley of Greve in Chianti and the Florentine hills. Artists and their friends and families can benefit of the relaxing atmosphere of the blissful garden and proximity with major art sites and cultural cities are at short distance: Florence only 20 km and Siena only 40km.

The light-filled, spacious and panoramic studio created in a separate building from the bed and breakfast rooms is open day and night. The studio has air conditioning and wood heated floor and can be for exclusive use or shared with other local and foreign artists for an inspiring and fruitful art stay in Tuscany.

The retreat is isolated and hilltop surrounded by nature and silence yet close to facilities and majors art cities of Tuscany.

The main village Greve in Chianti is just 5km away and offers restaurants, pizzerias, supermarket, specialty shops, a colourful market and cultural events. 

Artist-in-residence programs are for 1 week or longer stays and include shared or exclusive use of the studio with view, single or shared accommodation in double bedrooms and suites, buffet breakfast with half board option, free cooking facilities in communal kitchen, free use of existing art material and supports (boards, aisle, foldible chairs, tables etc). Specific art material can be provided on request with adeguate notice.
